An afternoon at the beach, and a Sierra Club hike

3. The oldest redwood in this area - inside the Higgins Purisima park.

4. Grandpa Tree

5. The Sierra Clubbers at the base of the tree give some indication how big it is.

6. A parting shot as we walk away ... this was a 12-mile roundtrip hike with some significant uphill, so it felt hard enough.
